Born and raised in Newport, Connor Allen now balances his time between Newport, Cardiff, and London. Connor will be performing spoken word at the Dogs Home in Tenby, bringing his creative work to new audiences.

Connor trained as an actor in Carmarthen and continues to work in the industry. After winning a monologue competition, which led to an introduction to National Theatre Wales, he discovered a deep passion for writing.

His plays often explore themes that resonate with him personally, such as grief, love, and identity. These works are frequently inspired by his own experiences, upbringing, and the significant role that music plays in his creative process.

Connor was the Children's Laureate of Wales from 2021 to 2023.
